Winchester Auto Store, 801 South Spring St., Little Rock (July 10)

This Art-Moderne Style commercial building was built by Dennis and Maude Winchester in 1947 to serve as the Winchester Auto Store. The original curved walls of decorative glass block flanking the corner entry creates an impressive entry point for the newly renovated structure, which now serves as the new home of Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects.

This is event is free and open to the public. This event does not require an RSVP.Those attending the tours are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes, seasonally and weather appropriate clothing, and exercise respect for property owners and pedestrians when parking. Tours generally occur rain or shine, however those interested should follow the AHPP’s Facebook page for any last minute news about tours as severe weather has caused postponements or rescheduling in the past.
