MAIN STREET STAFF

The Historic Greyhound Bus Station is located in downtown Blytheville. Renovations are currently underway and it is expected to open as a Visitor's Center in 2007.
Assistance from the State Program
The Main Street Arkansas staff provides technical assistance to Main Street cities to help ensure that each local program develops at a pace and in a manner that is appropriate to the town's needs.
Preservation design consultation for downtown buildings and streetscapes helps ensure a good start for each commercial rehabilitation or new development project.
Business consultation services are provided to business owners in Main Street districts to ensure that they stay viable and competitive in today's market.
The state provides local workshops and coordinates quarterly meetings where program managers and board members can exchange ideas with other Main Street Arkansas communities.
